  1. I disagree. Her assumption is that the government (our tax money) is the only venue through which children are fed, educated and housed. That's what the community and the church are called to do. That's also why some pro-life pregnancy centers are doing things like connecting women directly to churches so that they can get that support. She makes a good point as to the fact that we need to be concerned with taking care of the child, but that doesn't detract from the important moral stand of pro-lifers on carrying to term vs. abortion.
