The creativity that some possess completely astounds me and encourages me to continue on.

YouTube Copyright Detection

These are some pretty powerful processes.
I just wish they would go a little bit more in depth into the algorithms even though I probably wouldn't be able to understand half of it.

Execution, Killing, or just plain Murder?

Most will watch this and find themselves agreeing with the message present. Saying something along the line of "I can't believe countries still do these things."
We like to think that we are more "humane" in our killings (if that is at all possible), but do you realize that an execution by firing squad was used in an American execution just last week?
Check it out.

EDIT: I should clarify.
I am not against the death penalty (anymore).
The death penalty is not only biblically justified, but also biblically required (see Genesis 9:6).
My grievance with the death penalty is not based on biblical principals, but rather on the fallibility of the US justice system.
As pointed out, Genesis 9:6 makes it very clear that the death penalty is biblically justified, but there are just too many cases where innocent people are put to death for me to be 100% comfortable with it.
Since 1973 over 130 people have been released from death row due to evidence of their wrongful convictions. Wrongful convictions often result from an inability to access adequate legal representation, political and/or community pressure and racial prejudice to name just a few (source: Amnesty International USA)
In clear cut cases, yes, the death penalty is required, but there are too many "gray" cases and what does that make us when we support/encourage a system that ends lives not guilty of the punishment being dealt to them.

Happy Father's Day

A lil' video I shot and edited for Northridge Church in Rochester, NY.
The son, Drew, was an incredible actor and great kid!

God gives, God takes. God's name be ever blessed.

This video is one of the most powerful videos I have ever seen.
I marvel at how this couple has this attitude in the face of what they have gone through.

I can't embed the video on this blog so you're going to have to go here and watch it.

Great but horrible at the same time.

My immature self finds this hysterical.
So much for that artsy fartsy image I try and build up with the videos I normally post.

It's Pretty Wild

I was on my way to downtown Rochester to see Rusted Root play a free show. Evidently, the rest of Rochester also had the same idea so finding a close parking spot was near impossible. I ended up finally finding one in a school parking lot. As I stepped out of the car, I was greeted with the sounds of men yelling and blunt objects hitting each other. I decided to check it out and found a whole bunch of guys and girls dressed up in full armour and fighting each other. It turns out they are part of an international medieval reenactment group called SCA.
I asked them if they would let me film and they agreed and so off I went. I started filming finding the whole thing hysterical and the thought that I could show my friends later and we'd all have a good laugh over it. Now, I still find the whole thing very entertaining, but as I stayed a little bit longer and talked to them, I found the thing less of a joke and a little fascinating. I'm not even close to going and signing up to join the SCA, but I can at least appreciate what they're doing.
